Peace,
“C’mon man…you know what to do, you’re just not doing it.
You have a responsibility to ACHIEVE FOR YOURSELF, and the
only way this is going to happen is with self-inspiration, self-determination
and hard work that starts before everybody else gets up
and AFTER everybody else has gone to sleep…”
~ Jeffrey Gitomer
He also has pretty dope website – from an internet marketing perspective alone the psychology of how it’s set up (not even talking about the content) is on-point: http://www.gitomer.com/

Peace,
Just released a new note on facebook – a short read called “RELAX: Sometimes You Speed Up By Slowing Down.”
It’s actually an excerpt from David Allen’s Ready for Anything: 52 Productivity Principles for Work and Life, which is another dope book. In it, he put together a series of short articles that all unify to form an overall structure. One of the quotes on the book’s back cover says:
“…A stimulating dose of un-common sense. These powerful and practical pointers for living a more productive life are as subtle and …

Verse One:

Peace,
For this session, I’d like to build on what we went over in part 1: African Holistic Health.
First is a disclaimer: everything I’m sharing with you here (and everything I share with you period, really) is a combination of my personal research, my personal opinion and my personal experience. As an individual, you should take responsibility for your own health and follow what feels right for you.
Dr. Afrika actually just added me on …

Peace,
As some of you guys already now, I’ve turned into somewhat of a computer-nerd not too long ago (over the last 2 years, I’d say – at one point, I was even hooking up computers to make some money on the side).
One of the major things I’ve learned so far is that you don’t necessarily need to get a new computer or buy expensive programs if you know how to take care of what you have and keep it updated with the latest, free software. In that spirit, here’s …

Peace,
I’ve been reflecting over the last few weeks on the power of quotations: how deep it is that a single sentence can encapsulate years of experience and a single phrase profound levels of truth. Check it:
“Every man is my superior in some way…in that, I learn from him.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
“Men are anxious to improve their circumstances, but hesitant to improve themselves. They therefore remain bound…” ~ James Allen
“Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.” ~ Michael McGriffy, M.D.
“The short term result of …

Peace,
Over the last couple of weeks, you’ve probably noticed me starting off a few of my blog posts and facebook notes with:
“from an upcoming project,” or
“an excerpt from something I’m working on…” etc.
Well, I’m currently putting together a major project on self-discipline, self-control, time-management and personal productivity, and it should be ready to go really soon.
I don’t want to talk too much about it now (because I’d rather have everything together before creating any buzz about it), but even though I’d like for you to keep …

Peace,
Just put this new video up:
This is probably one of my favorites so far, because what Rasun (the brother in the blue shirt) built on really touched me. The community I came up in has a lot of gang activity, and for a long time now (ever since I started getting knowledge and being authentic), I’d always reflect on some of the kids I grew up around and how brilliant they were: I’ve spent a lot of time thinking of who they could’ve become if they just had the right …

Peace,
I just made a new facebook note (I usually dedicate Sundays to facebook posting, and the rest of the week to the blog)… it’s pretty short but still hot nonetheless. Here’s a sample:

…Now I want to wrap things up with a quote:
“Independent, self-reliant people are a counter- productive anachronism in the collective society of the future. In modern society, people will be defined by their associations – the groups they belong to – NOT by their own individual accomplishments. In such a world people who read too well or …

“….Tony Robbins talks about this a lot in his writings too – the power of posing the right questions to your subconscious mind. But what I want to do here is give you an idea of the entire process so you can form exercises and techniques like this for yourself. Check out these examples….
