Peace,
First, listen to this:

——— Online Resources ———

Simpleology.com w/ Mark Joyner: I first came across this in 2007 – a great productivity training course with simple daily exercises and quick videos all focused on “the simple science of getting what you want.” They’ve definitely stepped their game up since back then, so do yourself a favor and take a second to check them out now…
Productive Flourishing w/ Charlie Gilkey: a blog that’s “all about the science and art of meaningful action.” Just trust me when I say this brother has a …

“Student loan repayment can be difficult for young people starting off their careers and has become even more challenging now with the economic downturn, as recent graduates lose their jobs or struggle to land one…”
Peace,
That’s from an article I found on BusinessWeek a few days ago, about this guy who started a group on facebook called, “Cancel Student Loan Debt to Stimulate the Economy.”
The group quickly grew to about 140,000 fellow members, and for good reason: ALMOST ALL OF US HAVE THIS PROBLEM. The article goes on to explain …

Harmonics: “Darkness” by Fat Jon…

Peace,
I’ve been getting a lot of new traffic to the blog lately (which is great), so I’d like to take a second to let you know about some ill posts you may of missed out on, just because they’re a little older…
Most of this stuff is only from the last two months though (I picked the blogging thing up again at the turn of the year and basically post everyday now), so if you just started checking out Today’s Transcendence over the last few weeks or …

Peace,
Here’s another “old school resurrection”: the first blog post I did (from like, back in June of 2008) when I initial got the idea to write my first book…

For some reason, I had the weird idea that I could finish writing it and have it available in less then 2 months, which of course turned out NOT to be the case. (I think the two-month thing is possible, it just wasn’t for me at that time…it’s type interesting looking back at all that’s happened since then too.)
To start off though, …

Peace,
Here’s a couple dope videos that’ll be in the reference section for “Conquer Yourself”: one gives a new approach to setting and achieving goals and another to improving your organization skills. They’re both pretty good, so I didn’t want to wait until the entire section was done to share them with you…
The first is a major concept from Julie Morgenstern’s book, Shed Your Stuff, Change Your Life: A Four Step Guide to Getting Unstuck. Here she builds on something related to Feng Shui: that sometimes organizing isn’t enough, because …

Peace,
Not sure if I told you this yet, but I’m big on dream analysis and other related ideas like lucid dreaming, out-of-body experiences, etc. Currently, I’m reading a book called Lucid Dream in 30 Days: The Creative Sleep Program, and it’s been helping me to have more potent dreams on the regular.
The book starts off suggesting you to keep a journal by your bed every night to record what happens in your dreams AS SOON AS YOU WAKE UP. When you do this however, don’t try to write out the …

Harmonics: “Obokuri Eeumi” from Samurai Champloo…

LEARN FROM OTHERS, TEACH YOURSELF:Still putting the finishing touches on those Conquer Yourself conclusion pieces (one for resources like a bibliography and another for easy navigation like an overview), so check this out for now: it’s an old-school post from June 2008 where I build on the importance of finding truth within yourself. It’s nowhere near as impressive as I thought it was when I first wrote it, but it’s still a cool read nonetheless.
It’s always interesting for me to look at my writing from …

Peace,
Just got back from New York a few hours ago, so I’m still adjusting to things (haven’t even unpacked yet), but I wanted to share this with you. It’s a few random thoughts about the synthetic society we live in and the effects it has on us.
This actually comes from a rough draft of one of the “Conquer Yourself” sessions >> the third to last one with all the analogies to sports psychology and athletic performance I’ll be releasing a round up and conclusion post for the series soon, but …

Peace,
I mentioned this a few weeks back when I was introducing a freestyle session me and El did – an excerpt from Phil Valentine’s classic lecture, “The Book of the Earth.”
I also mentioned this on facebook a few days ago (in a photo album dedicated to black genius)…I said the lecture was my first time hearing anything from this brother >> I stumbled upon it randomly while hanging out at an NGE bookstore in Jersey City, thinking to my self, “Oh, it would be cool to watch a lecture rather …
