I believe that all habits are learned, and that we have bad habits (so-called “addictions”) for actually GOOD reasons. For instance, a person may use drugs to give themselves a false sense of self-confidence, which is essentially a healthy desire, just an UNHEALTHY way of meeting it.

The self-help industry is really “deceptive intelligence”: that, at the root of it all, the self-help industry is led mostly by fraudulent (sometimes even narcissistic or pathological), so-called experts who just spit raps about feel good psychobabble to SOUND knowledgeable and convincing…

Step 3.) Don’t get excited: if it applies, let go of the delusion that any book, video or audio product contains a “grand secret” or some “universal knowledge” that’ll make all of your problems go away. I want to talk to you today about writer’s block, because I got a pretty cool technique that I use for it all the time. The funny thing is I never really realized that I used it, until I heard this business trainer I’m learning from mention it as a “technique”
