You spend all this energy to go down to the library, take the time to find a free pdf-ebook version of it online or even COUGH UP SOME OF YOUR HARD-EARNED “DOE STACKS” to get a hold of that book you’ve been fiending for, but, after all that effort, it just…sits there.
For most of my life, the logic I’ve lived by is tantamount to thinking I can help a diseased man get well by pretending to be diseased myself, and I’m willing to wager that you’ve been playing that same card…
Remember that there’s a difference between pushing yourself and BATTLING yourself, so as you grow into a stronger, wiser and more productive person, cultivate the inner-voice of understanding and encouragement, not discipline and despair.
