Random Thoughts on Being Your Authentic Self…

5 May 2010 2 Comments

Peace,

Yesterday, my friend Kendra left a comment on the “Television is NOT the Truth” post, where she related what the audio mixdown was building on to some of the poetry she’s written…

My response was pretty in depth, so I wanted to share that with you again here. Check it:

NO DOUBT ;) I’m actually writing something similar to this concept…something about the importance of being who you are, because TV is one of the primary manipulators that keep us away from our authenticity…

black man thinking deep reflectionAs long as people are manipulated to believe that something other than their authenticity is the desirable way to be they BECOME ROBOTIC CLONES WHO ARE EASY TO MANIPULATE, and this is why our world feels so whack at times…it’s because we’ve abdicated our ability to place our own authentic imprint on the environment around us.

If you’re not authentic, you can’t create your own reality; if you’re not an anomaly, you can’t alter the matrix. So Kendra, you’re right on the head with that TV issue.
