Be Creative AND Dominant: Use Intelligence to Rule Your World with Self-Direction
“Intelligence rules the world; ignorance carries the burden.”
~ Marcus Mosiah Garvey
…and I’d like to add to that, “most people use *their own* intelligence to disguise which half of the equation they’re truly on.” (For more on this, see my most famous post EVER here)
This quote, while profound in and of itself, is a good question to take towards your own perspective in life personally. Namely, are you using intelligence to rule (i.e. self-direct) your own world and future, or being ignorant of that power, thus carrying the burden of somebody else acting more dominant than you?
As I say in the book’s chapter on motivation, “Be the Sun, Not the Planet,” are you doing the dishes for somebody else’s nutritional needs; merely playing “department of sanitation” for the trash and waste of somebody else’s personal ambition? Are you acting to your own detriment yet ignoring that fact???
>> Are you playing timid with your talents and skills, letting someone else dominate the field or industry you should be more vocal within, although they’re *far* less proficient than you?
>> Are you complaining about social injustice, inequality or more global forms of oppression but still sitting on your lazy, over-Americanized, consumerist BEHIND and doing nothing (except clicking a few “like” buttons on some activist webpage) about it?
Remember, “Intelligence rules the world; ignorance carries the burden,” and most people USE their intelligence to disguise which half of the equation they’re actually on.
Instead, do the opposite: BE DOMINANT by using your mind to self-direct your existence and never let some ignorant clown remain in control without question…whether that be in terms of your own personal life or the field of industry you should be more active within.
