22 October 2010 No Comment

Peace,

Next Wednesday’s radio show is called, “Protecting, Preparing & EMPOWERING OUR YOUNG GIRLS for the Social Challenges & Dangers of Today’s World” and on it I’ll be interviewing Kelsie Morales, a sister who does this for a living.

Click here for the direct radio link, and check out her intro video below:

With her work, she covers issues like…

teen girl empowerment issues>> internet safety and online bullying,
>> peer pressure, stress and teen depression,
>> weight, body image and eating disorders,
>> dating issues, teen pregnancy and abuse,

…so on and so forth. Here’s what her blog looks like:

So we’ll talk about things like that on the show, but I really want to dig deep into her mindset and skill-set, and figure out things like:

empowering young girls>> “What motivates you?”
>> “What are some of the specific, new challenges you see girls facing in this day and age???”
>> “How do you get girls to open up and share honestly with you?”
>> “What are some of the biggest realizations you’ve had doing this kind of work???”

…etc. etc., so the show is going to be dope. It’ll be next Wed., 10/27/2010 @ 9 (NINE) pm eastern time…a little later to work with Kelsie’s schedule.

You can either listen online here or call in directly from your phone using (347) 215-8122
