The Major Key to Managing Your Time, Energy & ATTENTION…
Today I’m going to take a short break from the series: not really to rest or anything, but to put together a new video. Be sure to check back tomorrow for a great tutorial overviewing and explaining the Conquer Yourself series.
As a reminder, remember what we covered in lesson 1, that productivity is just as much about UN-doing things as it is doing them. Let go of all unproductive busy work because “the wisdom of life consists of the elimination of nonessentials.”
It’s hard to stay disciplined when you’re feeling overwhelmed, because your body will naturally shut down to recover itself, so your work-time focusing ONLY on the specific tasks that bring you closer to the end result, and throw everything else away.
Time, energy and attention (i.e: mind power) as a type of fuel you only have a limited amount to expend. Get rid of all the minor tasks that aren’t pulling you forward (like checking your email) and FOCUS on the key activities that do (like writing or selling).
