Peace Family,

Below you’ll find copy of the foodlog I’ve been keeping to stay on track of my nourishment. I used a scanner to make a jpeg image of the table and affirmations I use, so now you guys can get a sneak preview of my lovely handwriting :)

Seeds & NutsI mentioned this last Sunday in the latest Knowledge Build Entry, how I’ve been using a measurement system to keep track of what I eat and how it affects my energy and emotions. Not only does this help conquer a bad habit, it also shows me how to stay energetic for my most important responsibilities.

It hasn’t been easy, but there’s been a lot of progress so far. Breaking a habit you’ve had for years is never a simple task, and so I’m learning to be patient with myself as I continue on with it too.

Here’s the actual chart (click on the image for a better view):

Bryan\'s Foodlog

The columns read: Time (when I ate), Hunger Scale (from 0-5, zero being completely famished, five being not hungry at all), Nourishment (what I ate and how much), Pre- & Post-Emotion (how I felt before and after the meal or snack) and Supportive Thought (statements to keep me in-tune and on-track).

And here’s a copy of the affirmations I wrote on the reverse side:

Foodlog Affirmations

You can click on the image for a larger picture here too, but for those who (for whatever strange reason) can’t seem to decipher my exquisite penmanship, the statements read:

1.) I see and understand the benefits of eating wisely.
2.) I don’t eat if I don’t need to.
3.) Through self-control, I’m becoming more healthy & economic.
4.) I accept all responsibility for managing my health.
5.) I forgive myself for not following knowledge.
6.) I’ve made mistakes in the past, but that’s OK.
7.) By being nutritious, I’m becoming Supreme.
8.) Growth, power & greatness are assured.
9.) I love my body, and treat it well.

In the last post, there’s a link explaining what affirmations are with some powerful examples in video form. While you’ll still need to check the page out for a full break down, here’s a video the page contains.

Until next time fam,

Peace,

+B
