Q&A on Overcoming Your Fear of Success

“We both had strength but not courage. We
both committed the same kind of treason somewhere.”

~ Ayn Rand

“Hey Bryan. How are you? I’d like your opinion on something…

I feel like the root of my stutter-step progression with certain aspects of life (school, for example) is because I’m scared I might not know how to handle going to the next level. I graduate in May and there’s talk about applying to Grad School, but just the idea of being a graduate student makes me think of trying not to fail at an even greater task.

So I guess my question is how did you fight your nerves and take the risk of moving toward your goals without letting the fear of failure eat you alive?”

~ B.L. from Los Angeles, CA

In short, you have to learn to REFORMAT your subconscious perspective around the challenge, so that your immediate, habitual frame of thinking responds differently to it (or, in this case, no longer sees it as a concern).

Again, you have to REFORMAT your fear of success – your fear that any progress you make will bring about greater levels of responsibility which’ll inevitably lead to failure anyway – into a SELF-IMAGE of yourself as a success instead…into the belief that you were literally born to succeed and are more than capable of handling any challenge your goal-setting will bring about.

Again, it’s about RE-formatting your mind…reconditioning a subconscious process at a level that happens automatically and instinctually, not straightforwardly or direct.

You’re very in tune of yourself, and I applaud your courage not only in resolving to get this taken care of, but in reaching out to me in order to make sure you do. Let’s work together in bringing out the best you we possibly can.

Also, I’ll be starting a newsletter tomorrow, with more discounts, free audios and more, so be on the look out for that.

Take care and to your continued progress,
