A Legacy of Black Intelligence pt. 4: The Indonesian Nubian

Just kicking it in Queens right now with the family. Not too much free time on my hands, but I wanted to take a quick second to introduce you to my friend, El Rasun (if I haven’t already).

He’s been one of my best friends for some time now, we rhyme together (as a duo called “Liberty Styles”) and over the last few years, he’s been putting me onto A LOT of information…

He’s also a martial artist, currently studying a particular style of Kung Fu called Black Flag Wing Chun. His school (or “dojo” if you will) is actually on a trip to Indonesia as we speak: their connecting with other family schools, learning more about the origin of their fighting style and of course, stepping their game up to the next plateau.

As part of this, El just started a new blog to keep his friends and Universal Fam up on what he’s doing. It’s called “The Indonesian Nubian Travelogue,” and you can check it out here: http://daindonesianubian.wordpress.com/
